Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-op and PACU care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Monitor and recover patients following conscious sedation and general anesthesia
Collaborate with a skilled team of IR techs and specialists in a Level I trauma center
Support a variety of body IR cases including chemoembolization, Y-90, and vascular access procedures
Ensure safe, compassionate care for both outpatient and critical care patients

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certification required
PALS certification preferred
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfort working with vents and telemetry monitoring
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
