End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, with additional shift options including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekends and holidays vary based on department needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency care to patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center
Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, sepsis, chest pain, and stroke patients
Administer common ER drips and medications with precision and care
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to the OBS unit and Freestanding Creighton ER to broaden your experience
Interpret cardiac monitoring strips and respond quickly to patient needs

Qualifications

Current RN license and BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
NRP certification preferred
Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience essential
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside the 50-mile radius and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for high-acuity emergency situations
Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining quality care
Comfortable working in a fast-paced trauma environment
Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities
