Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care across ER, MedSurg, and Swing Bed units in a critical access hospital
Manage diverse patient populations including geriatric, dementia, stroke, and post-acute rehab patients
Administer and titrate IV medications, electrolytes, and blood products safely
Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to patient changes
Collaborate with CNAs and the care team using a supportive team nursing model
Provide initial trauma care and stabilize patients in the emergency setting
Support restorative and rehabilitative goals for patients recovering from illness or surgery

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Comfortable working in a rural critical access setting with 1:8 ratios

Knowledge & Skills

Dementia care and geriatric patient management
Stroke care and skin integrity protocols
Telemetry interpretation and titratable drip management
IV medication and blood administration
Team nursing and collaborative care delivery
