Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday, Nights: Friday-Saturday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety and comfort
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support patient outcomes
Collaborate with a 24/7 OB team including OBGYNs, NNPs, and anesthesia providers
Support high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use concerns

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
Comfortable working independently during deliveries and C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills with ability to manage high-risk pregnancies
Experience with AWHONN staffing guidelines and couplet care
Proficiency with Centricity perinatal EFM system
Ability to function across Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
Excellent communication and adaptability to unit workflows
