Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert Labor & Delivery care across all phases from admission through recovery
Monitor and titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips with confidence
Support moms and babies through postpartum and intermediate nursery needs
Collaborate with the on-call OB team to ensure safe, timely deliveries
Float as a helping hand to other units when the floor is quiet
Jump between assignments with ease as census and acuity shift throughout the day

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong, independent skills in L&D, postpartum, routine nursery, and intermediate nursery
Comfortable working with a minimum of two nurses on the unit at all times
Experience titrating drips and reading fetal monitoring strips

Knowledge & Skills

AWHONN-aligned patient ratios
Central fetal monitoring system
Ventilator stabilization and bubble CPAP experience
Ability to adapt quickly between busy and slow periods
Team-first attitude with strong backup support for colleagues
