Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to ICU patients with conditions like COPD, pneumonia, CVA, DKA, sepsis, CHF, and STEMI
Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, insulin, TNK, heparin, and sedatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms to catch changes early and act quickly
Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and the care team available 24/7 to deliver seamless patient care
Float to PCU and medical floors as needed, showcasing your versatility and expanding your skill set

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong ICU experience with comfort managing 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in drip titration and vasoactive medications
Telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Ventilator and BiPAP troubleshooting
Critical thinking under pressure
Clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
