Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin with confidence and precision
Interpret telemetry and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with RTs and the care team to manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen needs
Float within the 60-mile zone to support facilities and fill scheduling gaps where needed most

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
Epic experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers
Comfortable floating between ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units

Knowledge & Skills

Expert titration of critical drips and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Strong telemetry interpretation and rapid response skills
Ability to manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen independently
Flexible, adaptable mindset for floating across a 60-mile zone and varied patient acuities
Experience with CRRT, IABP, and Impella patients is a plus
