Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to neuro patients in a 32-bed Level 1 Trauma ICU
Perform advanced neuro assessments and manage ICP monitoring with precision
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the renowned Barrow Neurological Institute
Float between ICU and Telemetry units while delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Support complex procedures including craniotomies, tumor removals, and spine surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 Trauma experience and EVD skills are essential
At least 3-6 months of recent travel nursing experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong neuro assessment and ICP monitoring expertise
Comfortable floating to MS Tele and Telemetry floors
Proficient with Phillips monitors and ventilator management
Ability to maintain sterile technique during SIMs Lab skills check
Ready to work holidays as part of the core staff rotation
