Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients in a Level 3 facility
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence and independence
Circulate and recover C-section patients while ensuring optimal outcomes
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed to support the entire women's services team
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips using ACLS and AFM expertise
Collaborate with 24/7 OB/Neonatologist and Anesthesia teams for seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact license
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Experience with high-risk laboring and delivery patients
Proficiency with vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring
Cerner experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Independent and confident with high-risk laboring and delivery patients
Skilled in C-section circulation and recovery
Strong fetal monitoring interpretation abilities
Comfortable floating to postpartum and other units
Experience with titratable drips including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin
