Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory conditions
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications while closely monitoring patient response
Interpret and document telemetry strips using GE monitors with tele tech support
Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver safe, patient-centered care
Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed while maintaining appropriate patient ratios
Respond within 30 minutes when called back from on-call status

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
Experience with drip titration and vent management from nasal cannula to full ventilation
Ability to manage diverse patient populations including trauma, sepsis, heart failure, and post-procedure recovery
Comfortable floating to PCU and MedSurg with ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
