End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with compassion and efficiency
Titrate medications and start IVs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide expert care for PICC/Port lines and manage complex drips
Lead or assist in code situations including cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis
Respond to traumas and stabilize patients for transport if needed
Float seamlessly between MedSurg and Emergency Department to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal staff and communicate directly with hospitalists
Comfortable with titrating drips and managing critical patients

Knowledge & Skills

IV start and PICC/Port care
Medication titration and code management
Trauma response and emergency care
Telemetry interpretation and EKG reading
Experience with Meditech EMR and Mindray monitors
Strong adaptability and quick learning
