Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to laboring, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients in a 12-bed LDRP unit
• Skillfully triage patients and manage admissions for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Circulate and recover patients during C-sections in the dedicated OR suite
• Titrate Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate drips as needed for safe patient outcomes
• Care for overflow mastectomy patients on an overnight stay basis
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless care and positive outcomes

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years
• Comfortable caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
• Triage experience is a must
• Experience circulating and recovering C-sections
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Current BLS, AWHONN intermediate or advanced (or C-EFM), and NRP certifications

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing - labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum
• Triage and assessment skills
• C-section circulating and recovery
• Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate titration
• AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios (1:1 labor, 1:2-3 couplets)
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and fast-paced environment
