Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients
Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal vitals using FetalLink and Cerner
Circulate during C-sections and assist in emergency deliveries
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, and a supportive team
Float to postpartum or NICU as needed to care for grower/feeders
Educate new mothers on infant care, breastfeeding, and recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in California (or compact state) required
Minimum 2-3 years of recent L&D experience required
At least one prior travel contract preferred
ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required
Fetal monitoring certification (AWOHNN intermediate or advanced) required
Cerner and FetalLink experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Fetal heart monitoring interpretation
C-section circulating and recovery
Cerner electronic medical records
FetalLink monitoring system
Stable program (preferred)
