Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, days and nights, with every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday for days, Friday and Saturday for nights)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and new mothers
Monitor fetal heart tracings and intervene as needed
Attend deliveries independently and assist with c-section circulations
Titrate medications like Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin as ordered
Care for mother-baby couplets and transition newborns
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB providers and NNPs

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (1 year with multiple travel assignments considered)
Active RN license in Washington or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
LDRP experience essential
Comfortable attending deliveries and circulating in c-sections
Prior travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in LDRP nursing and c-section circulation
Skilled in fetal monitoring and interpretation (prefer intermediate or advanced FHM)
Experienced in titrating Oxytocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
Knowledge of postpartum and newborn care
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit
