Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed
Read and interpret telemetry strips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RT and nurse aides
Float to PCU and MedSurg when needed maintaining appropriate ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska (compact accepted)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Driver's license required for distance verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating drips and managing ventilators
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to read and document telemetry strips
Comfortable with self-scheduling and flexible schedules
