Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend, minimum 2 holidays per contract

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, sedation, and other critical medications
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, documenting rhythms accurately
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
Maintain a safe and healing environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submittal
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Driver's license required for radius verification (50-mile rule applies)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ICU nursing including titration of drips and telemetry monitoring
Ability to read, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for managing complex patients
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
