Location: Dodge City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays (requires 36 hours per week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank
Ensure accuracy and quality control of all testing and results
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including the EPIC Beaker LIS system
Perform phlebotomy on rare occasions as needed
Collaborate with healthcare team to provide excellent patient care
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Generalist Medical Technologist or MLT
Certification as MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) or MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) required
BLS certification preferred (may be required if patient contact)
Proficiency with EPIC Beaker LIS system required
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to work in a fast-paced lab environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in generalist lab testing across all departments
Strong knowledge of EPIC Beaker and laboratory information systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
