Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with on-call requirement: weeknight call 1x/week and weekend call 1 weekend/month, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrub and monitoring duties during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
Monitor hemodynamics, assist with conscious and moderate sedation
Manage cardiac drips and balloon pumps effectively
Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment for optimal performance
Provide high-quality patient care and ensure safety during procedures
Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification and California Fluoroscopy license required
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 1-2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Proficiency in cardiac drips, moderate sedation, and balloon pumps
Comfortable with airway management and procedural processes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in conscious and moderate sedation
Knowledge of cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Skilled in balloon pump management
Proficient in coronary, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventional procedures
Strong understanding of airway management
Ability to work in a fast-paced STEMI receiving facility
