Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients by assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the clinical team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and assist with basic hygiene needs
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in the state of Georgia (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (required or obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and adapting to unit needs
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and monitoring
Infection prevention and proper PPE use
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear, professional communication and teamwork
Accurate charting and documentation practices
