Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate handoffs effectively
Assist with meal, hygiene and comfort needs to promote dignity and wellbeing
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to follow care plans

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (certification valid in Pennsylvania preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Comfortable working in a fast-paced care setting with strong teamwork skills
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care, ADLs, and vital sign measurement
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively as part of a team
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and care delivery
