Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care and assist with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Maintain accurate documentation of care and vital signs
Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to promote patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification expected
Demonstrated ability to provide respectful, patient-focused care
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and team members
Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
Willingness to follow facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Education

Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent training
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with ADLs, safe patient handling
Infection control and proper use of PPE
Clear, empathetic communication and teamwork
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Attention to detail for accurate documentation
