Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient care
Observe and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or needs
Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver excellent person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program or equivalent
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screen, and required health screenings (vaccinations, TB test, etc.)
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and infection control best practices
Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
Safe resident transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Charting and documentation in electronic or paper systems
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
