Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and compassion
Take and record vital signs accurately and report meaningful changes to nursing staff
Observe skin integrity and perform turning and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
Safely transfer residents to/from bed, chair, or wheelchair, and provide assistance with mobility
Answer resident calls promptly and respond to immediate needs with kindness and professionalism
Maintain cleanliness of resident care areas, change linens, and restock supplies to support smooth care
Collect and communicate observations about resident conditions and care plans to nurses and providers

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required
Current CPR certification required
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehending)
Comfortable working under pressure and collaborating with residents, families, and long-term care staff

Education

Current California CNA license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Taking and charting vital signs accurately
Safe patient transfers, turning, and repositioning techniques
Observing and reporting skin integrity changes and other clinical concerns
Resident bedside care and basic bedside documentation
Clear verbal and written communication in English
