Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) to preserve dignity and comfort.
Take and accurately record vital signs and promptly report any changes to nursing staff.
Safely transfer residents, perform turning and repositioning, and monitor skin integrity to prevent complications.
Respond quickly to resident calls and provide compassionate bedside support.
Maintain cleanliness of resident care areas, change linens, and restock supplies to ensure a safe environment.
Document resident care and observations in accordance with facility protocols and support ongoing care plans.
Communicate effectively with nurses, providers, residents, and families to support coordinated care.

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents, families, and long-term care staff
Demonstrated English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, comprehending) to follow care plans and document care

Education

Current California CNA license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming
Taking and documenting vital signs
Safe resident transfers and use of assistive devices
Turning, repositioning, and skin integrity observation
CPR knowledge and emergency response
Resident care documentation and information collection from caregivers/providers
Maintaining cleanliness and restocking supplies

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Pay scale with 30 increments rewarding up to 30 years of relevant experience
