Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and document vital signs accurately and promptly
Help move and transfer patients safely while following proper body mechanics
Report changes in patient condition to the nursing team and chart clearly
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Support team members during busy times and contribute to a positive workplace

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must meet state requirements)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable performing patient transfers and assisting with ADLs
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and basic clinical skills
Infection prevention and safety best practices
Accurate charting and documentation habits
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nurses
Time management and multitasking in a clinical setting
