Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
Support meal assistance, hygiene, and bathing routines while preserving dignity
Follow care plans and facility policies to maintain high standards of care
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
State of Pennsylvania CNA registry listed or eligible
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Previous long-term care or clinical experience preferred but new grads are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care, hygiene, and safety procedures
Comfortable with resident mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nurses
Strong interpersonal skills to support residents and families
