Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe mobility and fall-prevention by using proper transfer techniques
Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents while following infection-control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and families, documenting care in the resident record
Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized care plans are followed and updated

Qualifications

Current CNA certification as required by Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-centered approach
Reliable, punctual, and able to work an 8-hour clinical shift

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL support
Basic vital sign measurement and reporting
Infection control and standard precautions
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear documentation and teamwork in a clinical setting
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
