Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 04-28-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with hiring manager (schedule varies)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with professionalism and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated patient care
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and residents

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (if you will practice in Pennsylvania, appropriate PA certification/license expected)
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification is preferred or obtained upon hire
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to perform physical aspects of patient care and follow facility policies
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care preferred but new graduates welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and infection control practices
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks
