Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
Document patient progress and adjust therapies as needed

Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist license required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing impairments
Familiarity with acute care setting protocols and patient populations
Proficient in using therapy modalities and adaptive equipment
Understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
