Location: Dodge City, Kansas

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex laboratory tests across all generalist areas
Analyze patient samples accurately and ensure timely results
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with precision
Conduct quality control procedures and troubleshoot issues
Occasionally perform venipuncture for sample collection
Document and report findings using EPIC Beaker LIS system

Qualifications

Active MLT or MLS certification required (ASCP or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a generalist in a clinical lab
BLS certification preferred for occasional patient contact
Proficiency in EPIC Beaker laboratory information system
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive generalist lab knowledge including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank
Excellent phlebotomy skills for rare patient draws
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Familiarity with laboratory safety and regulatory standards
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
