Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
Apply principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
Utilize Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations for efficient patient care
Demonstrate critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population

Qualifications

Active Alaska state RN license required
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg background with strong critical thinking skills
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must successfully complete medication testing within first two weeks
Comfortable with Meditech and OBIX training provided

Knowledge & Skills

Med-Surg nursing knowledge and best practices
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Meditech and OBIX systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
