Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse PCU/IMC patient population including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and more
Titrate cardiac drips and manage medications like insulin, ativan, and heparin
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1, ensuring continuity of care
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units and patient acuities, from stepdown to med-surg tele

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips and managing complex medications
Epic experience preferred; neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration skills
Proficiency in managing insulin infusions and heparin protocols
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating across units
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
