Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, every other weekend, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips such as insulin, cardizem, and heparin
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, social work, and dietitian
Administer chemotherapy and manage symptom management
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed to support the team
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy certification required (or willingness to obtain)
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Driver's license required for submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with Alaris IV pumps and Lyko lifts
Ability to care for diverse patient populations with various diagnoses
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Comfort with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (training provided)
