Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable X-ray exams for trauma, ortho, and surgical cases.
• Operate Siemens digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment, GE c-arm, and portable units to capture diagnostic images.
• Assist in the OR and ER with c-arm and portable X-ray needs, ensuring timely and accurate imaging.
• Collaborate with a team of technologists to handle 40-50 studies per day across multiple rooms.
• Maintain equipment, manage PACS (McKesson) and EMR (Meditech), and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in on-call rotation covering weekends and holidays, with a 20-minute response time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Rad Tech in a hospital setting.
• Active ARRT(R) certification and North Dakota state license required.
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent.
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with ortho views is a plus.
• Willingness to float to transport or assist in other modalities when needed.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in general X-ray, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable X-ray techniques.
• Comfortable operating Siemens and GE imaging equipment.
• Skilled in using Meditech EMR and McKesson PACS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable to on-call schedule and quick response times.
