Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy across the full spectrum of neonatal to geriatric patients
Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment in ICU, NICU, and Level II trauma settings
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust treatment plans
Perform clinical assessments and make independent judgments in critical situations
Cover all areas of the facility including medical, surgical, and cardiac units

Qualifications

Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of North Dakota
RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
NICU experience is a must - we need someone who's comfortable with our tiniest patients
Ability to work independently and make confident clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with ventilators like PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Level II trauma environment
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
