Location: Centennial, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on medical-surgical telemetry units
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) including Penrose, St. Francis, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate heparin drips as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Must be willing to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Experience with various patient populations: cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, ortho, trauma, and more
Ability to titrate heparin drips safely
Strong adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced float pool environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
