Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (including 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $38 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a rehabilitation setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland preferred
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Previous experience in rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care is a plus
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Knowledge of rehab nursing best practices and infection control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
