Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans to meet each patient's unique needs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises

Qualifications

Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Ability to float to Mercy Medical Center Redding if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
