Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU
Titrate and monitor critical drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurses and techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Handle cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes cases with confidence
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in drip titration and cardiac monitoring
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
