Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, includes every other weekend, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a mixed PCU/MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy, monitor drips like heparin and cardizem, and manage patient responses
Titrate drips as needed, including insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Perform hourly rounding and ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Float to other PCU and MedSurg units as needed

Qualifications

At least 1 year of PCU, oncology, or MedSurg experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
ONS/ONCC certification preferred but not required
Chemotherapy certification preferred
Willingness to pass an open-book exam during orientation (90% required)
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Strong oncology and PCU nursing skills
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Ability to titrate drips and manage hemodynamic monitoring
Team player with a positive attitude and genuine care for patients
Excellent communication and adaptability
