Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care for patients with cardiovascular conditions
Titrate critical drips including amio, nitro, nicardipine, and epi
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with intensivists and cardiologists for optimal patient outcomes
Support thoracic surgery, EP, cath lab, and structural heart patients
Float to same-level or lower-acuity units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of experience with cardiovascular or intermediate care patients
Valid driver's license (needed for radius compliance)
No artificial nails in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating vasoactive drips
Telemetry strip interpretation
Knowledge of cardiac and vascular diagnoses
Ability to manage post-surgical and downgraded CVICU patients
