Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Monday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (flexible to 4x10-hour shifts Friday-Monday); on-call after 9 PM and weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform all types of ultrasound studies including vascular, OB (all three trimesters), and general procedures
• Prepare patients for exams and ensure their comfort and safety
• Operate Toshiba and new Phillips ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images
• Collaborate with radiologists to interpret findings and provide excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate records in EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS systems
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Active ARDMS certification (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) or RVS through CCI
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in general, OB, and vascular ultrasound
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Echo experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert proficiency in general ultrasound, OB ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound
• Knowledge of EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS for image management
• Familiarity with Toshiba and Phillips ultrasound equipment
• Understanding of sterile techniques and IV insertion (not required but helpful)
• Excellent bedside manner and ability to explain procedures to patients
