Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional occupational therapy services to a diverse orthopedic patient population
Specialize in upper extremity therapy including shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Manage a caseload of approximately 12 patients per day across outpatient, acute inpatient, acute rehab, and transitional care settings
Utilize ReDoc documentation for outpatient and Meditech for acute care to ensure accurate patient records
Collaborate with physicians, rehab aides, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes
Contribute to department orientation and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Active Oregon Occupational Therapy license required
Current BLS certification
Proven experience in outpatient orthopedics, specifically upper extremity therapy
Strong skills in treating shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Familiarity with ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems is preferred
Lymphedema training is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic therapy with focus on upper extremity conditions
Ability to treat a variety of diagnoses including CVA, MS, and head injury
Competence in acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficient in electronic medical record documentation
