Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including every 3rd weekend and 3 of 6 major holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for critically ill newborns in a Level 4 NICU
Monitor and assess vital signs, manage ventilators and medications
Administer medications, perform procedures, and maintain sterile field
Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and multidisciplinary team
Educate and support families through their NICU journey
Float to mother-baby and labor care as needed for baby care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
BLS and NRP certifications required
Cardiac STABLE certification highly preferred
Ability to pass SIMs lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Knowledge of Phillips telemetry and vent management (RT managed)
Understanding of sterile technique and infection control
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
