Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, plus weekend rotation (2 full weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with acute care needs including ortho, neuro, oncology, and critical care
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress accurately using Meditech EMR
Precept new staff as needed by the unit

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapy license in Texas
BLS certification required
Acute care experience preferred
Ability to manage a caseload of 1 eval per hour or 10 treats per 8-hour shift

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Knowledge of acute care protocols and trauma-informed care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient with electronic medical records (Meditech)
