Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in a telemetry/cardiac unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips accurately
Titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Manage patients with PCU-level care, including cardiac conditions, sepsis, and respiratory issues
Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and telemetry techs for optimal outcomes
Float to other areas as needed, including PCU, MS, and ER holds

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proven PCU experience and ability to read strips
Comfortable with titrating cardiac drips
Epic experience preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and telemetry knowledge
Proficiency in strip interpretation
Ability to manage multiple drips and critical patients
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity settings
