Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), including every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with confidence
Titrate medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports
Participate actively in codes: cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis
Respond to traumas and stabilize patients for transport
Float seamlessly between Med Surg and Emergency Department
Read and interpret EKGs using Mindray monitors
Document using Meditech EMR and ensure EMTALA compliance

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum of 1-2 years of ER experience is a must
Ability to work independently with minimal staffing
Comfortable communicating directly with hospitalists and flight transport teams

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating drips and managing critical medications
Skilled in EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Experience with Meditech electronic medical records
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient acuity levels
