Location: Tacoma, WA

Start Date: 06-18-2026

End Date: 09-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 0700 - 1530 or 0800 - 1630, rotating shifts, occasional weekends, holidays, and call/standby

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures with precision
Operate GE and Phillips nuclear medicine equipment to capture high-quality images
Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed
Collaborate with radiologists and cardiology specialists to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain a safe and sterile environment following ALARA principles
Document and manage patient records using EPIC and PACS systems

Qualifications

Active Washington State license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Proficiency with EPIC, McKesson PACS, and CVPACS
Experience with GE and Phillips imaging equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of nuclear medicine protocols and safety standards
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in IV starts and radiopharmaceutical administration
Adaptable to rotating shifts and on-call requirements
