Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as charge nurse, overseeing daily operations in a 26-bed long-term care facility
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care treatments and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to provide compassionate care
Serve as a clinical resource for nursing assistants and support staff

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Willingness to float within facility as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in managing residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Proficiency in wound care and medication administration
Familiarity with Matrix EMR system
Strong charge nurse and leadership abilities
Ability to work independently with phone physician support
