Location: San Andreas, CA

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with hour lunch; Saturday is inpatient only)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
Provide hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise instruction
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligible to obtain)
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current BLS/CPR certification
Previous outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of orthopedic assessment and treatment techniques
Manual therapy skills including joint mobilization and soft tissue work
Therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
Understanding of functional outcome measures and documentation standards
Patient education and motivational interviewing
Proficient in EMR systems and scheduling software
